Aleateia’s first performance was inspired by Eugene Ionesco’s absurdist anti-play La Cantatrice Chauve. Xi Haga F’Att Wiehed was a 40-minute one-act tragi-comedy dealing with a scene between Mr. and Mrs. Martin, which is only mentioned in Ionesco’s original play. This is the train sequence which takes the Martins from Manchester to London. A parallel situation takes place between two other characters: Bill Biljetti (the ticket collector) and the Maid.
